由于2020年10月1日之后根据真实身份法案新规无Real ID标识的美国驾照将不能用于登机，所以便利君最近打算申请新的加州Real ID，在DMV官网办理预约时发现居然可以预约周六办理事务，难道DMV周六也上班吗？搜索了一圈发现加州DMV周六真的开门上班。官方说明链接见Saturday Service at Select Field Offices
加州DMV现开放62处办公地点周六办理事务，时间：早晨8：00-下午5:00。周六不办理驾照考试的路考部分。 周六事务可以预约也可以walk in，但是预约十分火爆，建议打算 walk in 的朋友们早点去排队，之前有个朋友工作日去walk in，从早晨一直排队等到下午四点钟，所以大家还是早点赶去排队，早点办完事情节约一些时间。
DMV办事小贴士：由于排队时间较长，最好能提前预约。如果walk in尽量早点去排队，并且最好提前上网查查DMV有没有临时通知，防止去了才发现不上班白跑一趟（除了节假日放假之外，遇到特殊情况比如山火、维修等DMV也会休假）。
